TOMORROW: "Human Remains and Identification: The Role of Forensic Science from a Global Perspective"

Please join us TOMORROW (April 12, 2016) for a lecture by Luis Fondebrider, President of the Argentine Forensic Anthropology Team, titled "Human Remains and Identification: The Role of Forensic Science from a Global Perspective." The lecture will take place from 4:00pm—5:30pm in Mendel 103.

Luis Fondebrider is an Argentine forensic anthropologist, co-founder and current President of the Argentine Forensic Anthropology Team, a non-profit, scientific organization created in 1984 in Argentina, with offices in Buenos Aires, New York, Mexico and South Africa. Through the application of forensic sciences (mainly forensic anthropology, archeology and genetics), and in collaboration with victims' relatives and investigative bodies, EAAF aims to shed light on the investigation of human rights violations. Luis Forbinder has worked as expert witness and/or forensic adviser in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Bolivia, Peru, Paraguay, Colombia, Venezuela, and many other countries.
