ALL THIS WEEK (April 4-9): "Celebration of Mexican Mural Art, Film and Culture" Week!

ALL THIS WEEK: The Department of Romance Languages & Literatures is proud to present "Celebration of Mexican Mural Art, Film and Culture" Week from April 4-9, 2016.



Join us TODAY for our first event of the series with a film screening of "Ayotzinapa: Chronicle of a State Crime" by Xavier Robles. The screening will take place on April 4, 2016 from 6:30pm-8:45pm in Driscoll Hall Auditorium (132). $5 Suggested donation for entry. 50% of the entrance fees through donations of the screening are for the students of Ayotzinapa.



The second event is a lecture titled “Building Bridges: Cultural Activities that Bring Communities Together” by Ana Flores, Executive Director of the Mexican Cultural Center Mexican Cultural Center. The talk will take place on April 5, 2016 from 6:30-7:45pm in Falvey Library Room 205. Attendees will learn about Mexico and the Mexican community in the Greater Philadelphia area.







The third event will take place over the course of three days is titled: "Paint a Mural with Us: Mexican Social Movements" (April 7-9) where students will paint a mural about the struggle for social equality in Mexico from 
12-3pm each day in SAC courtyard!
