Salvatore Poeta Publishes a New Book

Dr. Salvatore Poeta has published a new study of the genre of the funeral elegy in Spanish letters, including an anthology of representative texts.  La elegía funeral española (Aproximación a la ‘función’ del género y antología) (Madrid:  Siglo XXI, Biblioteca Nueva, 2013) works across disciplines in exploring the elegy’s transtemporal, transcultural, transgeneric, and transliterary universality, centered on what Dr. Poeta frames as the genre’s indispensable Four Elegiac Principles.  Congratulations to Dr. Poeta on his new book!
