This podcast was recorded as a prelude to Dr. Grace Lees-Maffei's (University of Hertfordshire) lecture titled "The Modern Beauty of Italian Design" that was given on February 6, 2018 from 4:30-5:30pm in the Nydick Family Commons in Villanova University's Bartley Hall. Dr. Lees-Maffei's lecture discussed the history of Italy’s industrial affirmation on the global scale in the aftermath of WWII and highlight the elements that made this worldwide success possible.
