“Bolivia: Identity Politics in a Plurinational State” Symposium on April 15th!

The Romance Languages & Literatures department is cosponsoring the symposium: “Bolivia: Identity Politics in a Plurinational State” organized by the Cultural Studies Program this Wednesday, April 15 from 5-7 p.m. in Dougherty Hall West Lounge.

The symposium brings together a renowned indigenous Bolivian economist and scholars from the United States to discuss the articulations of diverse identities within the new political framework in Bolivia. Event participants will learn about the little-known country, pioneering political structures, innovative ideas of inclusion of ethnic groups in national politics, as well as educational achievements and goals in dealing with a diverse population.
