Dr. Juliá's Lecture at the University of Maryland

Dr. Mercedes Juliá, Professor and Chair of Villanova’s Romance Languages and Literatures Department, was invited to deliver a Lecture at the University of Maryland (College Park) to Celebrate the Centenary of the Publication of Platero y yo by Juan Ramón Jiménez, the second most read book in the Spanish language after D. Quixote. Dr. Juliá spoke of Platero y yo as a necessary work to learn how to live and enjoy every moment of our lives. The Lecture took place on December 4, 2014.
