The first Dante lecture in the Dante Series is up on YouTube:
Dante and Augustine? Three Case Studies by Simone Marchesi (Princeton University) took place Monday, October 27, 2014 at 4pm in Driscoll Auditorium. The lecture proposes an extraordinary insight on the relationship between Dante and Saint Augustine from the Vita Nova to the Divine Comedy. The lecture is part of the series Dante in Our World. 750 Years Later and of the events related to the exhibit Photos of Pavia from the 19th to the 21st century, which was in place in the Presidents’ Lounge of the Connelly Center until October 31st.
